Keosauqua Bridge

The Keosauqua Bridge is a 3 span haunched steel girder bridge. The spans are 210'- 260' - 210' and vary in height from 6' feet at the center of the spans to nearly 12' feet at the piers.

This design won an AASHTO Context Sensitive Solutions design award. The bridge is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2007.

Projects

One of the latest projects was a county research bridge. The goal was to construct as much of the bridge as possible with precast components.

The Mackey Bridge has precast pier caps, abutments, beams and deck.

Before NieKo Engineering we were a precast manufacturing company, located in western Canada, called J. S. Nielsen Construction.

J.S. Nielsen specialized in the design and manufacturing of architectural precast for cladding multi-story buildings. In addition we manufactured paving stones, precast pipe and perofrmed custom installation services.
