Keosauqua Bridge Replacement

More staining.

The bottom picture shows how the top of the girders will follow the new roadway grade. At the right of the picture, the roadway is coming down a hill, hence (cool word) the curve down. Then the roadway flattens out. When we designed the bridge, we had to design the girders to be higher than the final position so that when the weight of the roadway is added it "sinks" (deflects) back to the correct roadway grade. (We hope!)
