I have been designing aesthetic, sustainable bridges for the last fifteen years. In the past few years I have come to realize the importance of visualization and public partnering prior to starting a bridge design. Not only can visualization save money, it can enhance the public’s perception of the project and smooth the construction process.
To that end, I have developed 3D visualization techniques to aid a bridge designer and a community in building the best bridge possible.
I also have a strong interest in bridge sustainability and the green design movement. My Master of Science degree is in Environmental Engineering and for the past 12 years I have been a adjunct faculty member with Iowa State University in the civil engineering department.
